e-cig charging units

Monday, August 3rd, 2009

There are many ways to keep your battery for your e-cig working great and the first thing you need is a FULL charge.

My suggestion is when you receive a new battery from your vendor give it a full charge, and what is a FULL charge for your e-cig battery.

When you first receive your battery and plug it in to charge it in a few minutes a green light will pop on saying its charged, but it’s not. A green light indicates only that your battery is ready for use, it doesn’t indicate that you have a full charge however.

To receive a complete charge i recommend an initial charge of at least 8 hours, then it’s ready to use.

From that point on you can then use the battery when the charger light turns green.

What is a cartomizer in an e-cig?

Monday, August 3rd, 2009

A cartomizer is found in a two piece e-cig.

It is a catridge and an atomizer all in one.

Cartomizers are usually disposable. Inside a cartomizer is an atomizer made from simple wrapped wire surrounded by cotton. The cotton is prefilled from your vendor in the flavor that you like. When you are done with the cartomizer you can simply throw it away or you can drip on it.

Because cartomizers on you e-cig are disposable you should only drip on them a couple of times.

If you taste cotton in your cartomizer it’s time to throw it away, don’t drip on it, you burnt the cotton and it is now no good anymore.

What is an e-cig cart?

Monday, August 3rd, 2009

A cart, short for cartridge, is the section of your e-cig that contains the cotton.

Some e-cigs are two piece and some are three. I’m talking about a three piece e-cig in this article.

The three piece includes a battery, an atomizer, and a cart. The cart is usually the mouthpiece and can be dripped on in your three piece e-cig.

What is an e-cig atomizer?

Monday, August 3rd, 2009

For an e-cig an atomizer is something like a glowplug in a diesel engine. When you puff on your e-cig and it lights up the atomizer is heated just like the element on an electric stove but it heats instantly. Usually made out of wire, when you puff on the e-cig and continue to puff the atomizer gets hotter and glows more producing vapor from the e-liquid.

If you draw slower on on your e-cig you will notice the density of the vapor will be much thicker than if you draw faster. Puff on you e-cig slow and you will see what i mean. If you puff too slow you may taste cotton because you are actually burning the cotton if you dont have enough liquid in your e-cig.

You will find the e-cig very easy to use however and a cotton taste only exist if the atomizer is low on e-liquid. If you taste cotton, add e-liquid, just a few drops should do.

To drip or not to drip in your e-cig

Monday, August 3rd, 2009

First of all, what is dripping for an e-cig?

Dripping is a term used when you are using e-liquid for your e-cig.

You can drip on a cartomizer or drip on atomizers, depending on what kind of e-cig you have. Make sure to read the instrutions from your vendor on how to use your e-cig.

I drip into the cartomizer on my kr808d-1.

E-cigarette flavors

Monday, August 3rd, 2009

Walking through a fruit and veggie stand may be the best way to get your veggies but to get a real aromatic flavor e-cigs may lead the way.

E-Liquid has come a long way for the e-cig industry. Anything from apples-oranges and clove to garlic you can get just about any flavor you want just by searching for e-liquid flavors or search for e-liquid and put your flavor in and you’ll find it.

I’m hooked on 555. Thats an e-liquid by nhaler.com that is great, trust me on that, well for men anyways :)

My wife likes mint from vapor4life, shes hooked.
